Piers Rutterford

Piers has more than 18 years of industry experience. During that time he has worked for companies such as Newell & Sorrell, JKR and Loewy. Though the bulk of his portfolio favours design-for-print he also has some experience in NPD and fashion. Recent examples include t-shirt designs for Monsoon menswear and new product development for Guinness. He has also become increasingly involved in the charity sector, particularly capital appeals, with campaigns in the last year for Community Links and Asthma UK. David Hughes

David has more than 20 years' experience in design and art direction,- during which time he has worked on branding, literature and web based projects for, amongst others, Hammerson, Thomas Cook, Sainsbury, BAE Systems, BAA, BP, AEA Technology, IBM, Scottish & Newcastle, Transport for London and Historic Royal Palaces.

He was Creative Director at The Fine White Line - the critically acclaimed design subsidiary of CDP. And before setting up Alter Ego he was a Director of Newell & Sorrell - now Interbrand/Newell & Sorrell. The creation of David & Associates represents the pooling together of many of the independent creative partnerships developed during this time.

David has either personally won or, as creative director, contributed substantially to the winning of awards from: D&AD, Creative Circle, BDMA, Campaign, International Outdoor Advertising Grand Prix, and numerous travel industry awards schemes. Work has also been included in 'The Best of British Packaging' and requested by The British Council for overseas exhibitions of the 'Best of British Graphic Design'. Work produced for London Transport and Scottish and Newcastle breweries has featured in the V&A as part of D&AD Rewind, an exhibition celebrating 40 years of excellence in design and advertising.

Mike Reed

Mike is a freelance writer trading as Reed Words Ltd. He works across the design and advertising fields, although the focus tends towards the former. He's also done a lot of work in charity fundraising. Previously Creative Director at Other, an agency he co-founded in 1996, Mike went independent in 2002 and hasn't looked back. His designer partners, apart from David & Associates, include The Partners, Purpose, Landor and The Chase. On advertising and DM he works with Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw and New Moon TV (the people behind London's Olympic bid film, which Mike also worked on). His work features in the latest D&AD Annual (2005), and as a member of writers' group 26, he's exhibited work at the two most recent London Design Festivals (04 and 05). Mark Andrews

After the BBC and Warner Music, Mark became head of TV at CDP where he worked on some of the industry's most creative, effective and award winning commercials. He went on to run Propaganda Films European division for owner Polygram. Propaganda was then the world's largest and most innovative production company representing some of the world's most famous directors. In 1998 Mark founded Tsunami Films, which became synonymous with representation of fashionable director talents, many of which have gone on to direct feature films. Mark launched talent management and production company M-A-D-E in spring 2005.
